Katrina, Josh, & the Dogs | A Cynthiana, Kentucky Farm Engagement Session

I’ve said it before and I will say it again, I have GREAT neighbors!! I’ve never really had neighbors before. I’ve always lived out in the country and had at least a pasture or a field between my house and the next house. When we moved to Kentucky the house right next to us went up for sale right after ours. In fact the day of our closing, the realtor told me that the cabin next to us just got a contract on it. Shortly after that we got the chance to meet our new neighbors. I new immediately I would like them when I saw dogs and horse trailers; and I was right! Since then we have had a few dinners, exchanged a few eggs, rescued a Guinea (Thanks Kat), and this past weekend I had the chance to attend Kat’s bridal shower. It was a lovely shower with wonderful people and a beautiful lake view! I think made everyone even more excited for the upcoming wedding in September! Of course we had to do some engagement photos and I have to say that I am super happy that in more than one photo we managed to get all 4 of their dogs to look at the camera at the same time. The dogs are very well behaved and are good about sitting and staying when told… and the squeaky toy I was holding made them all look the right way at the same time. 🙂

Seriously!! Does it get much better than this?! ❤

They have a really nice piece of property with the cabin, woods, the horse pastures, and a little pond. We did several shots by the pond. Oh and isn’t Kat’s ring so pretty?! I love the blue stone and her nails always look so good!

They are a lot of fun and not overly serious, so getting these sweet shots was super easy. Josh may not love to have his photo taken, but he loves Kat, so he was a good sport. 🙂
